The Polish Zebrafish Society offers Domestic Travel Support grants of up to 2,000 PLN, International Travel Support grants of up to 3,000 PLN, as well as Technician’s Travel Support grants to support professional development and collaborative visits to other Polish or foreign zebrafish laboratories.
The grants are available to Members of the Polish Zebrafish Society who fulfil one of the following criteria:
-Researchers without a PhD degree
-Researchers with a PhD degree (Postdocs, max. 3 years after obtaining the PhD degree, employed by a University or Research Institute)
-Technicians working at a University or Research Institute involved in zebrafish research

A single application form is used for all grant categories.

13th European Zebrafish Meeting (EZM2026) Travel Support Grant
Who is eligible?
-PhD students
-Postdoctoral researchers (up to 5 years post-PhD)
-Applicants must have submitted an abstract for oral presentation at EZM2026
-Active PTZ membership (2026 membership fees paid)
Required documents
-PTZ Travel Grant Form – select the “International” option
-Copy of the submitted abstract
-Proof of registration for EZM2026, including confirmation that the Oral presentation option was selected
-Proof of payment of PTZ membership fees for 2026
-Recommendation letter from the supervisor

The grant covers:
-Registration fees
-Accommodation
-Travel costs
Maximum funding: 6000 PLN per person
Number of grants available: up to 5
