Services:Husbandry and breeding of D.rerio lines including weekends and holidays, animal welfare, health monitoring, setting spawners, sorting of transgenic lines, aquatic system assistance 24/7, fin-clipping and swabbing for the fish genotyping purpose, cryopreservation of lines including sperm freezing (SF) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF), importation/exportation of the lines, taking care of the equipment and consumables in the facility/laboratory/behavioral/injection room, practical training of new researchers, theoretical training platform for English researchers conducting procedures on animals.

Specialized equipment:• Complete workstations for zebrafish embryo’s micromanipulation enable injecting genetic material and creating new transgenic or knock-out lines (WPI and Femtojet pumps, Narishige micromanipulators, Leica stereoscopes).
Needle puller, tips beveler, and microforge for the precise preparation of injection microcapillaries.
1x Fluorescent stereomicroscope Leica that enables to observe and image of embryos/larvae in bright field, dark-field, or prepare fluorescent pictures.
Light-sheet fluorescent microscope Zeiss that provides high resolution in vivo and real-time imaging of zebrafish.
The behavioral testing room is equipped with a stand-alone aquatic rack (Aquaneering) for fish maintenance and automated systems for observing and tracking larval and adult zebrafish (Viewpoint Zebrabox, Zebracube).
